Passion fruit and lemon peel. Murky orange yellow pour with great head and lacing. Finish is a bit off sour hop tang. Funny that Veil beers barely make it to DC. This one is a slight misfire, anyway. Tap at Churchkey.

1 US pint can, from Left Field Beer, England. ABV is 8.5%. Hazy yellow colour, large to moderate white head. Aroma of yellow stonefruits. Rich mouthfeel. Pleasant flavour of yellow stone fruits, hints of citrus and tropical fruits, pine needles and resin in the moderately bitter finish.

Panda at home, thanks to the Wingman, 22/02/2025.
Hazed orange to light amber topped with a just off white head that thins to a swirl.
Nose is bitter orange, grass, pineapple, grapefruit, hint of mango.
Taste comprises bitter orange, grapefruit, pine needle, mango, papaya.
Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close punctured with easy going juicy come lightly resinous hop bitterness.
Okay easy drinking DIPA if perhaps lacking the punch that the Veil often delivers.

Panda thanks to Wingman. Just a light haze on this gold beer, small pale cream colour head. Palate is light and minerally crisp. Light malts, mildly sweet, touch of grain - West Coast it is then. A fairly aggressive hop spice assault precedes soft cooling pine and somewhat ripe citrus and citrus peel. Juicier tangerine - mandarin trying to poke through on the back end. Not bad, goes down easy but still not Veil's best.

On tap at Ocelot’s 2nd anniversary party, pours a hazy orange with some sticky, white head. Quite dank on the nose, soapy, chive, pine, garlic scape, some tangerine and orange too. Flavor is big with citrus, orange and grapefruit, grass, straw, some light lurking sweetness, oniony. Finishes creamy, lightly juicy.

475 ml can at home thanks to Glen. Hazy orange color with off white head. Malty and hoppy aroma, caramel, bread, pine, some weedy grassy notes, light fruity, orange, tropical fruits. Sweet and heavy bitter taste like aroma. Medium oily body with soft carbonation. Old can unfortunately.
