Mild in body, easy-going, and clean in taste. Each sip charms the senses with a distinct flavor and refreshing simplicity. Named after our founder's grandmother, our unfiltered lager is forever dear to our hearts.

On tap at Coalhouse Pizza, pours a hazy blonde with a small white head. Aroma brings out bready malt and light cereal notes. Flavour is crisp, with cereal notes, biscuity malt and gentle hops. Clean and crisp, with a fuller body than most in the style. Solid.

Can, no date, drunk 3/4/18.
Lightly hazy, peach-golden. White head fairly quickly recedes to ring.
Honey and biscuit give straightforward, clean malt notes in the nose. There's a touch of light alcohol, however.
In the mouth it's sweet, rather rich, honey-like maltiness which resonates in a very soft texture. Mild fruitiness, peach-nectarine-apple-like. Must be the hops. To that end, there's little bitterness, but the cracker and biscuit balance enough to keep the beer on track overall. Good attenuation, as well. Carbonation is low but still engaging. Kellebier-like, almost, though I don't think they mean it to be.

Relatively clear golden and lightly peach coloured tint, all beneath a single centimetre tall tan head. Aroma of citrus, honey, light grin and quite a bit of subdued grainy and herbal elements with a dose of sugars at the end.. Light grassy flavour with the malt front and centre, but depening on the flavour profile you are trying to go for makes this task a touch more comfortable throughout. Light-bodied; Pungent metallic and grassy malt flavours dominate up front with a light citrus and pungent malt and grainy flavour with only a touch of mellow, subdued notes of citrus and grass and finished with a lot of the typical lager elements throughout.Overall, a nice enough beer that shows some of the good conferencing elements that you'd expect, but when done from frieind-to-Friend, good way to get through the traffic. I sampled this twelve ounce counce can purchased from 15-March-2018 for US$11,99 for the entire sixpack sampled at home in Washington on just a day later on 16-February-2018 in the same brewery a perfect housee may exist

Can from Bine & Vine. Pours light, bright gold with a transient white head. Aroma is rather fruity. Almost medium body. Flavor is like a Kolsch might be if it were more pale stone fruit than mild citrus. Not really Anchor Steam, but far from the unfruity pale lagers. The breadiness is not that of a Kolsch or a pale lager. Fairly dry; moderately bitter. Refreshing. Different enough to be acceptable. I think it passes the California Common test.

16 oz can. Aroma is grainy, spicy (pepper or coriander-like), bread. Pours hazy golden with a one finger white head that falls into a ring somewhat quick. Taste is lightly sweet, crisp. Not too shabby for this style.

Can shared. Thanks Adrian! Pours a clear gold with a finger of foam. Light malt-driven nose with some dry yeast character. Clean and crisp, refreshing and dry on the palate. Soft malt and a clean finish without much bitterness.

From can to pint glass. Clear dark yellow with a moderate white head that quickly fades to a ring. Grainy aroma with slight fruit. Flavor is grainy and mouthfeel is thin. A bit of a harsh bitterness is buried way in the back.
