Keg at Borefts Day 1 22/09/2017. A hazed deep amber orange coloured pour with a loose white head. Aroma is fresh sweaweed, grass, lemon. Flavour is composed of semi sweet, mineral, leafy herbal hop. Palate is semi sweet, moderate carbonation, grassy hop ok.

Borefts IX. Day 1. Keg. Hazy amber beer, good pale cream colour head. Smooth palate, semi dry and with decent fine carbonation. Sweetish malts. Tangy floral fruits and modest pine and a little citric peel. Overall it is quite watery. Not good.

On tap at Concerthuis, 8%. Amber colour, off-white head. Aroma is light herbal,, caramel, some resin, tea, leaves. Flavour is medium sweet, malty, caramel, leafy, tea, hint of citrus, soft bitter finish. Medium bodied. Lacking for a DIPA, but a decent beer nonetheless.

Draught @ 9th. BBF 2017 [ 9th Borefts Beer Festival 2017 ] @ Brouwerij de Molen, Bodegraven, Netherlands. [ As Kees Fresh Hop IPA ].ABV: 7.0%. Clear medium yellow orange colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, sweet malt, moderate hoppy, citrus, sweet hops, dusty hops, green hops - light floral. Flavor is moderate sweet and light to moderate bitter with a long duration, dusty hops, sweet malt, pale malt, sweet hops, green hops - light floral. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20170923] 7-3-7-3-15

Sampled from tap at Borefts 2017. Sweetish, moderately fruity and slightly resiny aroma of orange jam, some mango and a touch of passion fruit. Quite sweet, moderately bitter, slightly fruity taste of orange jam, some strawberries, mango and some pine, followed by a short, moderately bitter, slightly resiny finish. Medium body, oily mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Okay!
