can - Orange pour, small lingering head. It smells mainly of citrus hops. The flavor is obviously well hopped though with perhaps more sweet malt character than many IIPAs. There are citrus and earthy notes. Very good though not a great example of the style.

Can. Coppery gold body with a mostly white head. The aroma is light, but has some citrus, pine and earth. The flavor is a weird sweet/bitter mix. Syrupy mouthfeel. Not my kind of DIPA.

Pour is a hazy light brown with a large white head. Aroma Is a bit of hops some sweet honey malt and caramel. Flavor is sweet malt although not as sweet as I was expecting but there is almost no hop presence here. Like none what so ever. This was a poor effort at a DIPA. The bottom of the can said this is good till 8/26/17, it taste like almost nothing now I can’t imagine what it will taste like in August. I actually got mad at this beer because of how poor it is.

12 ounce can into tulip glass, best before 8/26/2017. Pours slightly hazy golden orange/amber color with a 2 finger fairly dense and fluffy off white head with great retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lasts. Nice spotty soapy lacing clings around the glass. Aromas of huge grapefruit, tangerine, pineapple, peach, apricot, mango, lemon zest, orange peel, pine, honey, light caramel, biscuit, and floral/grassy earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of citrus/fruity/pine hops and moderate bready malt notes; with great strength. Taste of huge grapefruit, tangerine, pineapple, peach, apricot, mango, lemon zest, orange peel, pine, honey, light caramel, biscuit, and floral/grassy earthiness. Light-moderate pine/grassy/citrus peel bitterness on the finish. Lingering notes of grapefruit, tangerine, pineapple, peach, apricot, mango, lemon/orange peel, pine, honey, biscuit, and floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a while. Great complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/pine hops and moderate bready malt flavors; with a great malt/bitterness balance, and zero lingering hop astringency after the finish. Light-moderate dryness from lingering bitterness, increasing through the glass. Medium carbonation and medium-plus body; with a very smooth, moderately bready/grainy/sticky, and lightly resinous/rindy balanced mouthfeel that is great. Mild warmth of alcohol for 9.5%. Overall this is an awesome DIPA. All around great complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/pine hops and moderate bready malt flavors; very smooth and easy to drink for the ABV, with the balanced bitter/drying finish. Very bright, juicy, and pretty dank on hops; nice malt backbone that is never overly sweet or heavy feeling. A really delicious offering.

Draft at Taphouse in Manhattan. I love the hops on this beer. Sweet hops that are clean, juicy, and bursting with flavor with no bitterness to get in way. What more can I ask for. Strong head retention.

Sampled from the can at Winter Dabbler. Pours a clear light gold with a white head that lasts throughout the beer. Aroma has kind of a musty grass note, light pine and sweet grains. Flavor has notes of sweet musty grain, biscuit, grass and light pine.

Can: Cloudy, orange-amber with a thick, vanilla-white head. Pine and tangerine aroma. Taste is very juicy, citrus, orange malt. Peppery resin.....almost nectary/candied sweet. A flavour blast.....but it gets a little clingy after just a few ounces....along with some alcohol roughness.

Pours a slightly cloudy, golden-yellow, with big, lasting head. Strong pine-hop aroma. Flavor is fairly sweet, with a ton of hops, along with some licorice, sweet malt, and fruitiness. Finish is quite bitter. Alcohol content not well disguised.
