Kismet is a barrel-aged strong ale that we brewed back in 2020 and subsequently aged in bourbon barrels. Kismet was inspired by a beer that Mark brewed as a homebrewer for an event at Carnivale Brettanomyces in 2018. A dark strong ale with beautifully complex flavours. On tasting, you can expect oak, pear, liquorice, and spice on gentle caramel and a hint of light chocolate.

Panda thanks to Cloin. A very mild haze on this deep amber - brown beer, small bubbly pale tan head. Light palate, a little dry, decent fine minerally carbonation. Fairly light bodied malts for a brew like this, a modest creamy sweetness, plenty of caramel, rich and not too sweet. A little ripe fruits. Mild oak induced vanilla. Whiskey or Bourbon soaked fruits. Fairly light finish. Goes down pretty easy if very slightly unsophisticated.

Panda courtesy of Theydon_Bois, cheers Colin! Dark brown colour, biege foam head and aroma of malt, roasty, toffee, caramel, chocolate. Taste is roasted, malty, caramel, chocolatey, liquorice, with bourbon notes, and spicy oaky woody bitterness. Medium bodied, light carbonation, drying roasted bitter finish. Nicely drinkable.

Extremely dark mahogany brown topped with a lasting beige head.
Nose is treacle toffee, dark malts, spice, bourbon nip.
Taste comprises dried fruit rinds, herb, liquorice, dried red berries, bourbon nip, toffee.
Medium bodied with bite, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a mellow boost on offer.
Okay sipper if lacking some depth for the ABV.
