Canned 8/20/25, drunk 11/16/25, compliments of CLW. Thanks, Chris! As pictured.
Fresh yeast and softly floral, moderately herbal hops balanced by crackery, lightly bready malts. Maybe a hint of powdered sugar-like character, but not insanely aromatic.
Sort of see where it's coming from in the flavor. Almost tastes corn-like, with a good deal of sweetness that leans on yeastiness and bread to dry it, rather than the hops which only provide a kiss of bitterness up front before fading completely. The end result is too much corny sweetness, a bit sluggish in body and various bread and grass notes lingering. Pretty disappointing when you consider these two top-notch breweries.

Can from trade with CLW--thanks, Chris! Clear gold with nice sparkle, ephemeral, fizzy head and trace lacing. Aroma is sweet malts with slight fruit character, Noble hops. Taste is stronger version of aroma with an almost sparkling wine yeast quality. Smooth, frothy texture, average carbonation, dry, lightly bitter finish as taste. Good strength, liked the hint of fruit. Good for a Helles.
