Somewhere.
Somewhere inside me there'll always be the Westie I drink tonight.
Hopped with Chinook and Simcoe.

Panda thanks to Cloin. Near clear gold beer, small bubbly pale cream colour head. Thin palate, a mild dryness, modest fine minerally carbonation. Thin pale malts, a mild sweetness imparted. Soft cooling pine. Semi ripe citrus, a tad watery, mild citrus peel. Light finish. Maybe a transition brew for someone interested in getting in to craft beer. For an old soak like me, quite bland.

Can from the Beerhive. Pours clear golden with a thin white head. Aromas of pine and strong grapefruit. Taste is bitter, resinous. Has some heft to it. Bitter finish.

Can at home, from HOTM online, 22/10/2025.
Almost clear golden orange topped with a white cap that thins to the edge.
Nose is bitter orange, grass, grapefruit, melon.
Taste comprises citric tinged straw, crisp malts, bitter orange, grapefruit, pine nip.
Medium bodied, fine carbonation, light drying close spiked with grassy hop bitterness.
Tidy enough IPA.
