Beer-shop.it 28.12.21

Bottle at home. Three year old. Has a dark brown colour with a beige head. Sweet aroma of caramel, fudge, caramel chocolate (toffifee), diacetyl, alcohol, dates and wood. Strange bitter woody flavour with cloves, weeds, dandelion and raisins. Some diacetyl. Has a slick mouth feel, full-bodied and a medium bitterness. Very unbalanced overall. Sweet aroma and a odd flavour. Rich though. Maybe a bad bottle gone worse over the years.

330 ml bottle. Dark amber body with a nice, dense tan head. Aroma has malt, toffee, caramel, some spices and hint of alcohol. Flavor is sweet caramel malt, toffee, caramel, spices and warming alcohol, decent bitterness as well. Full bodied and long lasting strong flavored aftertaste. A solid one.
