Gold Standard is an imperial stout inspired by a classic hazelnut chocolate treat. A rich, layered malt bill creates a thick, decadent body, balancing sweetness and depth. It’s smooth, bold, and indulgent, a festive stout worth unwrapping.

Panda at home, thanks to Kenneth, 04/12/2025.
black topped with a tan head that soon vanishes.
Nose is chocolate, honeycomb, light booze tunes, dark malts, molasses.
Taste comprises Crunchie bar, toffee, chocolate melt, honeycomb, molasses, brown sugar melt.
Full bodied, oily feel, semi drying close with a balanced rising boost.
Fun pastry impy if a little overly sweet for my palate and needs some balancing aspect to the sweet onslaught! Sips fine for 15% though!

Can. Near opaque dark brown beer, small bubbly darkish tan head, very short lived. Smooth and slightly viscous palate, a little dry, good fine carbonation. Ice cream van chocolate syrup is the dominant flavour, a little chocolate liqueur. Light but pleasant and sweetish nutty vibe. Smooth finish brings a little chocolate vodka booze. Fairy simple but, enjoyably extreme with a good side serving of decadence.

330ml can. Pours jet black with a small head. Aroma is rich, boozy dark chocolate and hazelnut. Taste is sweet to start with dark chocolate, and milk chocolate and hazelnut on the finish. Boozy aftertaste.
