Jiddler's Tipple Cans Night At Home Triple, Beer#3 of 3. Thick black enjoyment. Its dense texture does make it a slower sipper, but retains a smoothness about it. Chocolate and jam are best together in its aroma. Chocolate is a little more dominant in taste, but the jam sweetness is still apparent enough. Perhaps the sum of its parts make it a little on the rich side.

330ml can via Beer52, poured into my Gordons thistle shaped glass at home late on 2nd December 2025 (my 72nd Birthday). Black bodied, tanned topping. Didn't get any cake and certainly no Swiss Roll in my can. Semi sweet feel and maybe some chocolate hints within.

440ml can from Sainsbury's Chester. Gluten Free. Black dark brown colour, beige foam head and aroma of roast malt, chocolat, wafer. Taste is chocolatey, roasted malty, lactose, vanilla, with earthy bitterness. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, roasty chocolatey bitter finish. Quite drinkable

440ml can from Sainsbury's Broadstairs. Pours a deep dark colour, good beige head. Aroma of sweet adjunct, chocolatey malt. Flavour profile continues in this vein, some gentle lactose, chocolate shades, lingering sweetness that I suppose is the vanilla. Lacks a solid swiss roll definition, poor in that regard, no sponge cake as per the description.. sloppy flavour profile. Getting a desert beer right is difficult, and this falls short.
