Huge, dense white head over fully hazy yellow beer. Strong asafoetida and sulphury nose, citrus, citrusflower, faintly meaty. Citrus, non-bitter grapefruit, faint asafoetida, light-sweetish finish. Unripe maize. Good bite, oily-slick. Medium carbonation. Some bitterness arrives really late on the aftertaste. Not very remarkable.

Cloudy pale light yellowish beer, small creamy off-white head, unstable, non adhesive. Aroma: lovely, very dank, tropical fruits, juicy, very nice and intense, lovely! MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: nice, hoppy, resinous, dank, some tropical fruits, a bit sweet, lactose or oatmeal, juicy, pleasant, gentle bitterness. Aftertaste: a bit floral, soapy touch, juicy, tropical fruits, a bit sweet, very pleasant, nice IPA!

Can from Mr Hop advent calendar, picked up via the webshop, Vernray Netherlands, this was my day 18 beer from yesterday. Had this at home Friday 19th December 2025 listening to Just Mustard - We Were Just Here and we're having homemade Chimichangas for tea tonight. Pours hazy yellow with a mid/large white head There's a little tropical fruit but I am picking up more of a citrus tang with a bit of pink grapefruit and lemon. It's a nice mouthfeel, perhaps a tiny bit more zip from the carbonation wouldn't go amiss, otherwise a very good DIPA. drinks easy for the abv, a brewery I will definitely look out for again. Score 7.4
