Imported from my RateBeer account as Den Triest Winter IPA (by Microbrouwerij Den Triest):
Aroma: 8/10, Appearance: 3/5, Taste: 6/10, Palate: 3/5, Overall: 13/20, MyTotalScore: 3.3/5
28/XI/15 - 75cl bottle @ Winters Bierfestival (Vichte) - BB: n/a (2015-1665) Thanks to Bierridder_S and the Gentse Biervereniging crew for sharing today's beers!
Clear dark brown beer, creamy solid beige head, very stable, bit adhesive. Aroma: roasted, sweet, caramel, toast, malty. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: bitter, floral, bit soapy, roasted, yeast, bitter. Aftertaste: malts, coffee, caramel, sweet, soft bitterness, bit fruity. Wouldn't go as far as calling this a (black) ipa, more of a hoppy winter ale.
