Centennial and Cascade hops make this a truly American Ale, brewed to be hoppy but not especially bitter, balanced with a solid Munich Malt backbone. Our flagship, and by far, our most popular beer. Cans, draft.

hazy burnt gold. 1 finger off-white head.Aroma is mild on this one, fairly dank with juice and pine and some mango. Hey, this is pretty darn good. Crisp, very light with a great hop balance, sweet without being cloying, good doughy malt character. very well done.

On tap at Industry. Pours a cloudy orange with medium frothy off white head that lasts. The aroma is strong pine, dank, resin. Medium body, grapefruit, pine, lingering bitterness, very good.

Tap at East End. Kind of an old school East Coast brewpub IPA. Massive foamy off-white head. Almost a ringwood yeast thing going on. Not so impressive for 2014.

4oz taster at the Pittsburgh public market. Pours a deep orange with one finger of rocky, lacing head. Nice nose, big up front, citrus fruits, light line, a little perfume. Very straight forward but not aggressive. Flavor is similar, sweet, lightly bitter, actually less bitter than the nose would indicate, lemon, orange zest, light pine, some caramel. Medium bodied, lightly bitter, refreshing finish.

On tap @ Beer Temple. Orange/amber color. Off white head, good lace. Aroma: sweet malt & resiny hops, nicely balanced. Flavor is medium bitter and lightly (malty) sweet. Body is fuller than I expected from 5.8%. Firm bitter finish. Nice!
