(Bottle 33 cl) The type of beer that virtually "explodes" when the cap comes off. The foam floods out of the bottle and it just keeps on going. By the time, I locate a glass, only half of the original content is left. Aestetically, this scrapes the barrel: muddy grey-brown - pretty much the colour of Chinese river water. When it comes to the flavor it’s a bit like chocolate (milk), actually quite soft and malty with some bitterness. And a lot of sediment - like the bottom of the aforementioned Chinese river. At least a tea spoon full of it. 100104

Bottled. Dark nut brown, hazy. Almond aroma. Sweet and soft, somewhat orangey. Fairly malty with some caramel. Warming, yet not alcoholic. Pleasant and flavourful. A good one.

With honey
Dark amber color; magnificent giant, thick head. Malt and spices aroma; lightly fruity (yellow berries). Good malty body; caramel; a delicate touch of roasted malt, dry, reminding a Scottish Ale; candi sugar; final with some nuts. Thanks Jacob (Lövenlund) for this bottle.

Dark-brown ale. Nose of liquorice and sweets. In taste liquorice again, and a certain amount of lactic acid that doesn''t seem voluntary - sits not quite right on the balance. Very much carbonation. No new aftertaste, sweetness becomes a bit cloying. Not exactly their best try.
