The ThunderHop I.P.A. has an intense bitterness, flavor and aroma. We chose to use two varieties of American hops in the brewing process. The color is copper to amber and the aroma is noticeably hoppy due to the use of Glaciers in the dry hop process. You will also pick up a complexity from fruit-like esters. The body is big and malty with some caramel sweetness.

12 oz. bottle from a trade with Joshua C. on Untappd. No date coding on bottle. Color is a unfiltered amber, fast dying head. Aroma is mild pine, weak fruits and lighter caramel.

Flavor starts with pineapple, candied oranges with a mild caramel malt base. The bitterness is pine resin with a slightly herbal. Bitterness is low with a slick / sticky texture. Pretty average single IPA.

12oz bottle I picked up at the brewery pours a clear, deep orange with a thin, creamy white head. Nose is nice but mild, malty, crackers, lemons, orange peel, a little light pine. Flavor is similar, balanced, sweet, crackers, biscuit, orange, lemon, a little grapefruit. Medium bodied, dry, zesty finish. No real hint of the heavy alcohol. Very well balanced for an IPA.
