2 weeks ago at IPH. Lighter than expected. Coffee smell all over. Taste is coffee, what else can be said about many of these coffee beers except that they are influenced by coffee. Plain old coffee. Cannot detect much alky in this brew. A not over the top good breakfast drink. Perhaps you can heat it up and add some vanilla creamer, heheheh. Yea, not bad for a coffee stout, oops, I mean porter, HAH

On tap-tan-brown. A-coffee/roasty-med malt. T-follows. Well done but not my style.

On tap at the brewery. Pours a dark brown with small beige head that lasts. The aroma is cocoa, cracker, roast. Medium body, roast, cocoa, lighr dry finish, very good.

Draft at the source. Opaque dark brown color. Earthy coffee grounds aroma. Taste is very earthy coffee. Nice.

Sampled on draft at the brewpub this beer poured a black color with a small creamy-soapy tan head that left good lacing. The aroma was brewed coffee, vanilla and a sour off note. The flavor was brewed coffee, vanilla and again the sour off note. Very long brewed coffee finish. Medium body but somewhat flat. Not good.
