A Northern German Pils. A clean, crisp, light-bodied lager featuring a very healthy dose of Noble hops. Kaiser Pils uses pale two-row barley malt as a backbone and has a fine level of carbonation that produces a lovely white foam head.

Draft at waterfront. MIld gold. No noticeable aroma to me. Nothing special, hoppy bite at the end.

At the source: pours golden with a white head. Aroma is grass and bread. Taste is somewhat bitter. Very refreshing and old school.

Bottle. Milky barley malt and hay aroma. Golden yellow with large white head. Sweet creamy barley malt and moderately bitter hay/quinine flavor. Nice body. Pretty good.

Bottle: Clear, yellow-gold with a quick white head. Pils aroma...almost a little skunky. Grain, grassy bitter.........slight peppery tingle......straw. Ok, but the bittering comes across a bit awkward.

Bottle. As "Pennsylvania Kaiser Pils". Beer of the month club. Hazy yellowish golden with a medium white head. Aroma of grains, grassy hops with citric notes and some diacetyl. Sweetish malt flavor, slightly bready with grainy and buttery hints, continues to a bitter hoppy finish with grassy, spicy and slightly citric hops. Medium-bodied. Quite refreshing.
