Appearance - 9 | Aroma - 7.5 | Flavor - 9 | Texture - 8 | Overall - 8
Pours a hazy, butterscotch-gold color, with big, thick head. Aroma is citrus and tropical fruit. Flavors follow, with the coconut, in particular, standing out. Lightly sweet underlayer. Soft mouthfeel. Moderate hop bitterness in the finish.

Certainly not having this ice cold, not sure why they suggest that. Big coconut nose but not sweet. Dry, toasty, somewhat spicy. Still sitting here vigorously trying to warm the beer hoping some soft, juicy notes will emerge, as dry, toasty coconut does not help balance the awful spruce/pine resin of Galaxy. Getting very little pineapple, which could also help balance. That said, the Galaxy isn't offensive or out of control here.
Big coconut with bracing bitterness behind it. Dry through and through. Again, it's not so much that the Galaxy is creating excessive acid/resin, but that the coconut is overdone and toasty, with the body on the very light side with cracker and chalk. Does have enough pineapple character to give it a colada flavor, but this could have been worlds better with deeper, more succulent malts.
