This medal winning India Pale Ale is brewed in the true
Northwest fashion. It has an intense hop flavor and aroma with a dry bitter finish. It definitely has enough hops to "send you over the edge."
IBU: 100 13º Lovibond 77% AA 15º Plato.
Available on tap and canned.

33cl can in Brussels via trade with BuckeyeBoy.

12oz can pours a hazy orange with some frothy, lacing white head. Nose is good, standard, malty, honey, orange, pine, soap. Flavor is the same, solid, lemon, grapefruit, pine, soap, malt, honey. Bitter finish. Spot on for the style.

I really enjoyed this (on tap at Papa Joe’s), lots of hop flavor without the overpowering tartness. Hazy amber with a small creamy head, mild pine bitterness, abrupt finish. Enjoyable and highly drinkable.

12 oz can from a six pack bought at Super 1 in Rathdrum, ID. Pours hazy cantaloupe with a large cream-colored ice cream float-looking head with excellent retention; after it recedes a little bit, some decorative lace is left behind. Aroma is toasty, crackers, piney, grapefruit, catty. Taste starts out a little sweet before a nice bitterness sets in and lingers. Body is thin for style, which is fine with me; creamy mouthfeel. Basic PacNW IPA, but very well done.

Got in a trade with TheFugitive. 12 ounce can into pint glass, no canning date. Pours hazy orange amber color with a 2-3 finger dense and fluffy cream colored head with fantastic retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lasts. Spotty soapy lacing clings down the glass. Aromas of grapefruit, orange zest, tangerine, lemon zest, pine, floral, grass, caramel, and floral earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great complexity of hop notes with a moderate malt balance; and good strength. Taste of big grapefruit, orange zest, tangerine, orange rind, floral, pine, grass, caramel, and floral earthiness. Good amount of floral/pine bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of citrus, citrus zest, pine, floral, grass, caramel, and floral earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Very nice complexity of hop flavors with a moderate malt balance under the bitterness; and zero cloying bitterness after the finish. Medium carbonation and body; with a creamy, crisp, and sticky mouthfeel that is nice. Alcohol is very well hidden with only a slight warming noticed after the finish. Overall this is an excellent IPA. All around great balance and complexity of hop flavors with moderate malt sweetness; and very smooth and crisp to drink. A very enjoyable offering.

Bottle courtesy of jcwattsrugger. 12oz bottle pours hazy deep copper with off white head. The aroma is sweet with caramel and malts as well as vague citrus hops and a sense of pine hops off in the background. The taste begins a bit tart with grapefruit and orange peel like sharp hop bitterness and only giving up a sliver of ground to malt sweetness from time to time. It mainly stays bitter with citrus hops right to the finish and getting a tad resiny too. Nice bitter IPA. I had it recently on tap too and it seemed to have less tart like acidity than the bottle.

On tap at Sockeye. Light copper color with a nice head and small amount of lace left in the glass. Plenty of citrus and flower aroma. Real smooth taste with the hops overpowering the malt. Nice smooth finish at the back of the mouth. The is a real nice beer.

Draft: Dark orange / amber pour with a nice frothy head. Solid blend of floral and citrus hops, a little bit of pine, and some malts to balance. A well done IPA from Sockeye!

On Tap at Kahootz. A hazy medium dark amber with a small white head. Aroma is a strong hops and citric rind. Flavor is a very bold hoppy taste but full and balanced with malts. Fell is heavy and substantial, and the finish is the classic IPA bite. Glad to see a good offering from a local brewer.
