An American-style India Pale Ale that is brewed with 100% Centennial hops from the Pacific Northwest and then dry- hopped with over 44 pounds of Centennial as well for an extra fresh hop punch. This beer has a fresh resiny herbal and citrusy grapefruit aroma that follows through to a tingling hoppy herbal bitterness in the finish. The British pale and German Vienna malts provide a biscuity malt sweetness that balances the hop bitterness.

Draft at brewpub. Poured a medium-light amber color with a small white head. Aroma was a bit pine, orange, touch of biscuit malts. Flavor was biscuit malts, orange peel, pine throughout, very hoppy. I quite enjoyed this one.

Brewpub 4oz pour: Pours a reddish color with a white head. Aroma is primarily of citrus hops. Taste is unfortunately underwhelming. Sure it has some hop bitterness and a sufficient malt backbone. It is just that this beer attempts nothing to stand out in the huge field of IPAs. It is too subdued to really be interesting. In short, I am glad that I got only a sampler of this, because I would have been bored with a whole pint.

Bottle at Butters’ Slutfest: Lemon zest nose, moderate strength. Clear amber, thin head. Nice mixture of lemon and piney hop flavors. Finishes more piney. Good balance, not too exotic or complex, but well made.
