Manchester Beer & Cider Festival 2016. Amber-brown and cloudy. Has a very noticeable strength with a sugary nose. There’s some fruitiness in its taste, but very subdued.

7th June 2015
Murky amber - brown beer, thin cream colour head. Palate is light and semi dry. Good minerally crispness. Caramel malts with a touch of brown sugar. Banana esters. Spice. Bitterish hops - marmalade with some fresh peel as well. Finishes semi dry with more esters and bitterness. A little messy but okay.

Bottle. Nose is pear, belgian yeast, caramel, resin. Taste is caramel, cream, icecream. berry, slight pear, and pineapple boiled sweets, leading to herbal, medicinal resin finish. There is a pleasing Belgian mustiness. Mouthfeel is fine. Nice enough but is a bit rich/sweet for an IPA

Cask. Gravity dispense. Sheffield Brewfest. 5th October. Hazy amber. Off white head. Medicinal aroma. Spicy, and grassy, too. Quite fusty. Floral dry taste. Thick, greasy palate. Not in too good condition this one.
