On tap at Capital Ale House, pours a deep dark amber with a small off-white head. Aroma brings out salt, lacto and a touch of coriander. Flavour is along the same lines, with citrus, oranges and light salt. Lacto-y palate. Nice stuff.

Bottle pour into nonic pint glass from One Stop Market. Appearance is lightly hazy orange-yellow with nice sparkle, finger-width fizzy white head with poor retention and no lacing. Aroma is Pilsner malt, orange, tart fruit. Taste is tart citrus over wheat cracker base. Palate is light bodied with thin texture, average carbonation and tart, dry finish. Overall, tart’s not my thing but as these go this was thankfully not "mouth-puckering" as described. Light and refreshing.

From a bottle this is really good. Got it as one of six in a cheap mixed sixer at the large bird of prey. I should have got a few more of these inexpensive great tasting beers. Yep, simply a well balanced mildly tart brew that is right up my alley. Odd off salt aroma. Coriander is barely there, and I like that because I,d rather have none. Possibly could use a hair less salt. Overall great beer discovery experience!

Hazy golden and orange coloured body with a nice, three centimetre tall pure white head that fades fast. Aroma of sour grain, lemons, light malt, sugars, fruit and a bit of grass. Light-bodied; Sharp funky and sour flavours with a good deal of salt, some light citrus and coriander seed and a nice smooth apple, pear and fruity flavour that shows sweetness near the end. Aftertaste is relatively simplistic with only a bit of grass, hay, citrus and funk to be seen afterwards. Overall, a nice and refreshing beer that show a good gose (not the best), but not a bad beer at all - and one to try, especially if you like the style or it’s summertime or you enjoy lighter beers - if you can find it! I sampled this twelve ounce bottle purchased from Giant Food in Falls Church, Virginia on 16-June-2016 for US$1,99 sampled at home in Washington on 25-August-2016.

Bottle drunk on the bus on 7/24/16. I opened this a bit untraditionally and broke off a good portion of the neck. Thankfully the jagged glass hasnt cut my mouth yet but it sure as shit cut the fuck out of my finger. Hopefully im not drinking glass shards but theres no real way of knowing. Really nice gose. Very salty, thick, honey malt and fine carbonation. Good sourness is not punchy or overly fake. Dosent just seem like a lame ass kettle soured wheat beer. Coriander is very light and tastefully done. Malt texture is soft and inviting and really works nicely w the saltiness. Troegs is awesome. One of the best of the big guys. Great lingering spiciness. My finger has stopped bleeding.

Bottle. Pours a clear gold with no head and active streams rising. Aromas are boring and lager-like, which makes me confused. I thought this was supposed to be a gose... Flavor is also a muddled mess. Kind of like a lager that has gone a bit off (not a sour, per se, though) and someone might have spilled a pinch of salt in. Very weak example of the style.
