Minnesota Trip Beer #27. Keg at Surly, 5/8/16. Slightly hazy golden, thin creamy, white head, good retention. Aroma of strong noble hops, lemon zest, pale malt. The taste is herbal, lemony, grassy hops, hay, pale malt. Medium bodied, well balanced. Nice!

Draught @ CBC 2016 [ Yellow Session ]. - Copenhagen Beer Celebration 2016, Oksnehallen Vesterbro, Halmtorvet 11, 1700 Copenhagen, Denmark. [ As Surly Pils 4 ].Clear medium yellow color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, white head. Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, sweet malt, moderate hoppy, grass, crispy. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a long duration, grass, sweet malt, pale malt, fruity malt. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20160513]

Draught@CBC2016. Hazy yellowish golden colour with a small white head. Aroma is grainy, bready, some slight floral and grassy notes to it. Flavour is quite similar with a nice mellow bitterness to it. Smooth and refreshing.

Tap at CBC ’16, Yellow session. A filmy layer covering a pale golden body with a slight haze. Floral aroma with noble hops. Nicely hopped flavour of citrus and grass with pale malts beneath. Smooth bitter endnotes. Rounded on the swallow. Great version of the style (Øksnehallen, Copenhagen 13.05.2016).
