Sil is a commemorative beer created out of love and respect for a colleague and friend. Sil, is a Belgian Ale base, fermented with Brettanomyces, then barrel aged in French white wine barrels with fresh strawberries for 6 months, then bottle conditioned for an additional 3 months. Spritzy mouthfeel, with a plethora of flavours from strawberry flesh, slight oak and wine character, some funky wild aromas, and some citrus tartness.
