Draught @ Haket. Pours very hazy burnt yellow with a small frothy white head that leaves a small trace on the glass while dissipating. Smell is fruity and grassy with crackers, grapefruit juice, kumquats, freshly cut grass, pine needles, minerals and lemon zest. Taste is bitter, slightly fruity and grassy. Mouthfeel is soft, round, tiny dry, tiny astringent, tiny boozy and medium bodied. Finish is tiny sweet and tiny bitter with crackers, grapefruit juice, mango, kumquats, freshly cut grass, minerals, lemon zest and hints of alcohol. Simple but tasty...

Bottle from Toft Vin, Copenhagen - pours black as night with a small dissipating tan head. Aroma and taste is a nice balance of dark roasted and sweet malty joy, some bitter chocolate hit, and then some caramel and vanilla sweetness to counter, coffee grinds, nice burnt notes going on, mouthfeel is smooth and substantial, this is a solid impy imho, gorgeous.

(330ml bottle shared @ VilleValla Pub, Linköping, Nov 27 2015) Pours black with a tiny ring of whitish bubbles and lace. Aroma of sweet burnt sugar, molasses, dark bread, moderate roast, slight coffee and maybe some stewed fruit. Smoky in the background. Palate is super sweet toffee and molasses, slight sweet black chocolate, raisins and stewed fruit. Light anise. Smoky hints on the finish. A bit drier, light alcohol and roast. Still sweet overall. Medium body and light carb. Fruity, smoky notes were really nice but something slightly drier overall would’ve knocked it out of the park. Good effort though!
