Welcome to the future. Our collective human consciousness, or Ghost in the Machine, has gained a tolerance for hops beyond what mankind has ever known before.

This Double India Pale Ale is the necessary outcome.

Brewed with obscene quantities of hand-selected Citra hops from our favorite farm in Yakima Valley, WA. Expect pungent grapefruit aromas and flavors, tropical fruit, and less harsh bitterness than most IIPAs.

From tap at Bayou Beer Garden, New Orleans. Juicy hoppy aroma with loads of tropical fruits, pineapple, mango, passion fruit, orange, citrus peel, pine, dank oniony notes. Bit sweet flavour with a bitter finish. Body is medium. Good tropical juice IIPA, bit dank, above average bitterness. Excellent.

Can from Prost! bottle shop, The Wirral. Hazy orange pour with a white head. Nose is tangerine, pink grapefruit, mango, peach. Taste is the same as above with spot of lime coming through in the back end. Very fruity. Heavy hoppy aftertaste.

Very straightforward hazy IPA, lots of citrus and mango and papaya, notes of mint and a touch of pine, with a mineral bitterness on the back end. Not overly sweet, but doesn’t stray far from the template. Pretty good.

It is okay, maybe not my hop selection but the beer itself is great. It’s puckering a bit. Beer temple ams

US Pint can at Benny’s Place, KL. Poured a murky golden orange colour with a mostly lasting frothy white head. The aroma is toffee caramel malt. The flavour is moderate bitter, light sweet, with a smooth, rich, toffee, herbal, citrus, boozy, woody hop bitter palate and a lingering bitter finish. Over medium bodied with average carbonation.
