Lake Effect is a tribute to Randall Pink Floyd, the legendary rogue flamingo that resided at the Great Salt Lake. An archaic, German-style ale brewed with over 50% wheat, coriander, and local salt, our Gose has a unique flavor profile. Unfiltered with a creamy yellow color, this wheat ale is full-bodied with a floral spice character, while sour, tangy, and extra refreshing at the same time. You gotta drink what Randall Pink Floyd wants to drink.

Appearance - 10 | Aroma - 8 | Flavor - 7 | Texture - 10 | Overall - 7.5

Tap. Pours lightly hazy golden, medium creamy white head, nice lacing. Aroma is interesting, sea air, floral and woody notes, hint of smoke. Flavor is light tart, medium Salt. Light body. A bit unique. I like it.

On tap at Proper, pours a hazy blonde with a small white head. Aroma brings out lots of coriander and moderate salt. Flavour is huge on the salt, coriander and salt. Very salty on the finish. Very good (for Utah).

Bottle courtesy of Sledutah, thank you sir! Very slightly hazy yellow color, white head. Earthy citrus aroma. taste is earthy, bordering on salty, and the coriander is very evident - a bit over the top on both. But it’s nice to see a pure gose, no fruit or anything to get in the way. Well done.

On tap at the brewpub
Hazy yellow with a small white head and some lacing. Mild aroma of dirty water, acidic and fruity. Flavors of tart citrus, salty and acidic
It was very good and refreshing. This would taste good sitting outside on their patio on a hot day. Unfortunately, I was inside and it was a cool night for July.
