Barrel Aged Imperial Stout with Toasted Coconut and Cinnamon.
Apple Brandy Benthic takes square aim at the barrel and how spirit residence before our time yields impact on these beers. Like Vanilla, Apple Brandy barrels are an overriding upside that aids every other facet into something more cohesive and different than without their presence. Coconut joins at average Benthic levels and Saigon Cinnamon makes an appearance at moderate levels for range without distraction. Fall fest cinnamon strudel, chocolate milk, warm McDonald’s apple pie in the paper sleeve, apple cider donuts, coconut sorbet.

Sweetish, slightly roasty and heavy with some apple brandy, vanilla, oak, toffee, syrup and cocoa. A bit heavy and stingy.

Medium body, oily and granular. Sweet and boozy, apple brandy with some sharp heat, cocoa powder, coconut, cinnamon in the aftertaste. A lot going on here, and not all of it hits the mark. The flavors are yummy, but too grainy and sharp. Nice though.
