Almost clear gold beer, thin white head. Palate is light and semi dry, fine minerally crispness. Clean pale malts, thin cream. Mild floral bitterness. Whisper of tangy citrus. A fairly dry finish. Although more difference than between the 2 Keyworth lagers, this one is also pretty close in character. Less sweet and more tangy than the Keyworths.

Bottle. Turner’s, Sheffield. Clear, pale gold. Minimal head of white. Nose has sweet, damp, grainy malts. Some grassy hop. Taste follows suit. Flabby, slightly oily mouthfeel. More sweetness on the finish. Too sweet for me. Could be a can of something cheap and Eastern European from the local offie. The least impressive Cloudwater I’ve had, by a long way.

Keg at the Craven Arms - Birmingham. Pours clear gold with a creamy white head. Biscuits in the nose, cereal, hay. Light-medium sweet flavor with moderate sugary cereal, light bitter hay, lemon rind. Light to medium bodied with average carbonation. Moderately sweet to finish, more cereal, straw, citrus rind. Pretty simple but very tasty.
