Thanks WillRun, 2 ounce taster from a 16 ounce pint. Black, red edges, coffee colored sticky lacing. This honestly smells like a protein shake from the late 90s like blueberry delight whey protein before a hard workout with cocoa and milk. so I guess they nailed it? I don’t really get pancake batter. flavor...very thin body but then it is only 5.5%. blueberry delight for sure but the finish is chalky whey and cereal. smells amazing. tastes just okay

Refrigerated 16 oz. aluminum can from FlandersNed poured into a glass. Black with off-white head. Aroma is blueberry, medium body, medium carbonation, and little toe lacing. Taste is slightly artificial blueberry, some pancake, and some chocolate.

Can pour at the May 1st DC Tasting. Aroma is amazing. Smells exactly like blueberry pancake batter. Raw, of course. Flavor is a bit artificial, though I suppose that’s to be expected. Blueberry, light caramel sweetness, honey.

16 ounce can into pint glass, best before 9/2/2016. Pours nearly opaque dark brown/black color with a 1-2 finger fairly dense tan head with solid retention, that reduces to a thin cap that lingers. Light spotty lacing clings on the glass, with a moderate amount of streaming carbonation retaining the cap. Aromas of big blueberry, maple syrup, milk chocolate, cocoa, coffee, vanilla, cream, caramel, toffee, brown bread, and herbal/roasted earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of dark/roast/bready malt, lactose, and blueberry notes; with great strength. Taste of big blueberry, maple syrup, milk chocolate, cocoa, coffee, vanilla, cream, caramel, toffee, brown bread, and herbal/roasted earthiness. Light herbal/roasted bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of blueberry, maple syrup, milk chocolate, cocoa, coffee, vanilla, cream, caramel, toffee, brown bread, and herbal/roasted earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Damn nice complexity, robustness, and balance of dark/roast/bready malt, lactose, and blueberry flavors; with a great roasted bitter/sweet balance and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth, moderately creamy/silky, and slightly sticky/chalky balanced mouthfeel that is nice. Alcohol is very well hidden with minimal warming present after the finish. Overall this is an excellent fruited milk stout! All around great complexity, robustness, and balance of dark/roast/bready malt, lactose, and blueberry flavors; and very smooth and easy to drink. A very enjoyable offering.
