12 ounce can from Bella's Sault St. Marie, 8/10/21. Another out of date one. Got a case of singles and not one fresh one yet. This one has no date or date code, but defintiely out of date. Wont hold it against the beer. Bit of a gusher. Hazy amber, very large white head, good retention. Aroma of stale citrus hops and a chemical note. Taste is citrus, mango, pale malt, caramel. Stale for sure. But I see some trouble signs that aren't a sign of age. Okay.

12 ounce can into pint glass; no can dating, but was just released last week. Pours lightly hazy/cloudy bright golden yellow color with a 2 finger dense and fluffy off white head with great retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lingers. Nice dense foamy lacing clings on the glass, with a light amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of grapefruit, tangerine, pineapple, peach, mango, lemon zest, orange peel, citrus rind, pine, cracker, toasted bread, and floral/grassy earthiness. Very nice aromas with good balance and complexity of bright citrus/tropical/piney hops and light-moderate bready malt notes; with good strength. Taste of big grapefruit, tangerine, pineapple, peach, mango, lemon zest, orange peel, citrus rind, pine, cracker, toasted bread, and floral/grassy earthiness. Good amount of pine/citrus rind bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of grapefruit, tangerine, pineapple, peach, mango, lemon/orange rind, pine, light cracker/bread, and floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a while. Damn nice complexity, robustness, and balance of bright citrus/tropical/piney hops and light-moderate bready malt flavors; with a nice malt/bitterness balance and minimal astringent hop flavors after the finish. Moderate dryness from bitterness that increases through the glass. Medium carbonation and light-medium body; with a very smooth, crisp, sticky/resinous, and lightly creamy/grainy/bready balanced mouthfeel that is nice. Alcohol is very well hidden with zero warming after the finish as expected of 4.5%. Overall this is a damn nice session IPA. All around great complexity, robustness, and balance of bright citrus/tropical/piney hops and light-moderate bready malt flavors; and very smooth, crisp, and easy to drink. A very enjoyable offering.
