Bottle, Wine Warehouse. Pours hazy amber-red with a nice soft off-white head. Aroma of citrus, caramel, bread. Taste is sweet citrusy syrup, followed by toast crumbs, followed by bitter grasses. Goes from sweet to bitter rather quickly.

Draft at the brewery during DC Beer Week. Pours a cloudy amber-red color with a small, wispy off-white head. Aroma smells a bit like a pretzel, surprisingly enough. Light, sweet malts. Sweetness comes through, but retains a pretty tasty light hop character in the flavor. Hits the spot surprisingly. I don’t usually like red ales.
