Special Edition India Pale Ale
In 2014 we released an entirely different IPA, a session with a similar name. Collaborating once again with Seattle’s Suicide Squeeze Records, the brewery remastered the recipe in a big, big way. Artfully mixed like a 7” vinyl, Suicide Squeeze pops with Mosaic, Amarillo, and Citra hops. The can artwork is by Seattle-based artist Jesse LeDoux, who won a Grammy for an album cover design for The Shins “Chutes to Narrow.” Suicide Squeeze cans are color-changing – the snake is green when cold, fading to gold as it warms while the red snake accents and building logo fades to gold as well. Can artwork by Seattle-based artist Jesse LeDoux.
While you’re here, check out the Fort George and Suicide Squeeze Music Sampler.
Packed with Mosaic, Amarillo and Citra Hops and front-loaded with 2-row barley paired with deep cuts of specialty malt, this Northwest IPA is masterfully balanced.
Hops: Amarillo, Citra, Mosaic
Malts: 2-Row Barley, Pilsner, C15, Flaked Corn, Aromatic
Yeast: London ESB

Can from The Davis Beer Shoppe. Pours gold with a nice white head and flecks of sediment throughout. Aroma is fruity/citrus/pine. Med body. Bitter and pretty dry. There's a good dose of citrus/pine, but I think there's a lot of pale stone fruit and some melon. Quite delicious.

On tap at Fort George - Lovell Taproom, pours a clear bright golden with a medium white head. Aroma brings out bright piney hops, biscuity malt and light dankness. Flavour is robust and assertive, with lots of piney hops and crisp biscuity malt. Bold and crisp. Really nice WC IPA here.

I had this in May 2021 at brewery so no idea which version it should belong to, or if all of this should be cleaned up. Great beer though. Lime and pine. Some tangerine zest. Hazy golden pour with good head and lacing. Bitter finish. Tap at brewery.

12 oz can from Boise Co-op. Marked Citraconada on the bottom. Medium golden, light cloudiness, small fizzy head. Light hoppy aroma, fruity, floral. Taste starts malty and dry, with the hops immediately following, citrus, pine, juniper. Always a pleasure.

16 oz can, under a month old. This is dated 3/27/18, so not sure it belongs in this entry. Not sure how the 2016 version differs from the 2017 version, either. Aroma is dank, briny green olives, orange juice, sweet bread, pineapple. Pours hazy golden with little flecks of sediment under a one finger off-white head with decent retention. Taste is moderately bitter with juicy citrus and tropical hop flavors. Nice.

Can. Nose is pine, orange, honey, peaches, bready malts. Glowing hazy orange with floaties and a lacy head. Fruity, malty flavor, biscuits, light honey. Very bready with stone fruit. Decent.
