In 2014 we released an entirely different IPA, a session with a similar name. Collaborating once again with Seattle’s Suicide Squeeze Records, the brewery remastered the recipe in a big, big way. Artfully mixed like a 7” vinyl, Suicide Squeeze pops with Mosaic, Amarillo, and Citra hops. The can artwork is by Seattle-based artist Jesse LeDoux, who won a Grammy for an album cover design for The Shins “Chutes to Narrow.” Suicide Squeeze cans are color-changing – the snake is green when cold, fading to gold as it warms while the red snake accents and building logo fades to gold as well. Can artwork by Seattle-based artist Jesse LeDoux.

Packed with Mosaic, Amarillo and Citra Hops and front-loaded with 2-row barley paired with deep cuts of specialty malt, this Northwest IPA is masterfully balanced.

Hops: Amarillo, Citra, Mosaic
Malts: 2-Row Barley, Pilsner, C15, Flaked Corn, Aromatic
Yeast: London ESB

16 oz can.split at Growler Guys, Lake City. Surprised to see this loitering on their shelf, but not complaining. Hazy golden pour. Patchy fizz head. Soft grassy hop aroma. Flavor is more on the citrus side, but the earthy element still plays a dominant role. A gritty, but refreshing flavor overall. A solid one here.

Pint can. Deep golden in color with a moderate white cap. Nose is full of hops; citrus, tropical, and pine. Taste is rich with hop flavors, very well balanced amount of sweetness to the bitters… I wouldn’t call it bitter, but rather loaded with hop notes. Exceptionally drinkable, I was half done before I knew it. This is the new wave of PNW / west coast IPA and it kicks ass.

Can thanks to Randy. Pours a cloudy gold with small off white head that lasts. The aroma is pine, dank, citrus. Medium mouth, juicy, pine, dank, grapefruit, lingering resin finish, very good.

Bottle share at Steve’s. What a way to end the night of mostly sours, with this pungent, citrusy hop bomb. Lots of grapefruit notes, extremely tasty and highly drinkable.

500mL can, pours a hazy golden with a small white head. Aroma is very fresh, with lots of piney hops upfront, followed by dank juiciness and dry biscuity malt. Flavour is dank and piney, with loads of dry piney hops, some light tropical fruitiness, and biscuity malt. Very fresh and well-balanced. Excellent.
