Session IPA by Põhjala, thanks Craftmember for sharing the can. Thick, very moussy, snow white, stable head irregularly lacing over a misty straw-yellow blonde beer. Aroma of dried lemon peel, unripe pineapple, stewing onion, white bread, oxidized apple slices, lime zest, hint armpit sweat. Crisp onset, fruity notes of pineapple, green mango and unripe banana, sweetish with lively, minerally carbonation throughout; smooth pale malt sweetish middle, bit bready but with sharper grainy edges too, expressively hopped with a certain sweaty dankness to it – but more prevalently, green mango, kiwi and lemon zest, with the citric aspect clearly overpowering the tropical aspect, making for a well-rounded, refreshing finish. Old school ISA (and intended as such, hence the reference to San Diego) but still with a touch of hazy NEIPA influence. Does its job the way it should.

Tap at FOB, Rimini, Italy. Pours rather pale gold, transparent, with very fine white foam. Aroma is a little lemony, soapy, citrus. Body and carbonation are average. Taste is moderate in both sweetness and bitterness. Final is fairly dry.

Very full flavoured. Earthy and funky. Tons of body, balanced with a big east coast hop punch. Great for the style, avoids “fruitiness”. sterk ams

can. clear yellow, offwhite head with a slight yellow hue. really fresh slighltly salty dry hoppy aroma. great aroma.very refreshing, not thin. flavor is somewhat herbal bitter with some bit weird bitterness notes that reminds me of the bitterness you find in some belgian ipa's just a bit more subtle. bitterness is flowery hoppy but also this other bitterness that is hard to describe. i think i have found it also in some cheaper european lagers, it is however a bit more aromatic, like the yeasty bitterness i've found in some belgian ipas, the more traditional belgian ipa's. The beer is well drinkable, especially if you expect something european, if you expected a straight on ipa experience, you could be disappointed. anyway, i think i like this one.
