This beer is a cloudy straw color with a medium white head that recedes gradually to an outer ring. Partial rings of lacing. The aroma consists of tropical fruit, hops, yeast and malt. Medium body with a vinous and fruity character with notes of hops, mildly funky yeast and malt. The finish is tart and oaky with a brett and mango aftertaste. Pretty good all around.

Tap at the brewpub. More barrel in the aroma but not in flavour, more hops and fruit, more acidic, less refreshing. Still good.

Poured into a tall tulip, the appearance was a hazy burnt yellow color with a finger’s worth of white foamy to messy head. Mostly messy lacing, semi-sticky.
The aroma starts off with a big sour lemon flowing into a nice semi-sweet to bitter dry hopped grassy sweet hops. Lemongrass subtleties. Tweaked semi-white pepper spice underneath. Nice fresh/bright crispness all around. Some pineapple. Light Stonefruit.
The flavor leans sour initially with a sly crisp sour lemon/grassy hops. Subtle malts, seem sour-ed appropriately. Fresh light smooth sour aftertaste flowing into the finish.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a fair sessionability about it. Good carbonation.
Overall, really nice dry hopped sour ale that I would preferably have again in the Summer.
