Im Geruch zeigt der Hopfen schonmal schön was er kann: Grapefruit, Maracuja, Pinie - Aromen, die sich auch am Gaumen fortsetzen und von karamelligen Noten ergänzt werden. Überraschend schlank für eine Bierspezialität mit 9 Prozent Alkohol überzeugt das Weiherer / Fat Head’s Imperial IPA mit sanfter Kohlensäure und harmonisch kräftiger Bittere.

Bottle. Mitchell’s Wines. Fresh bottle states Simcoe Mosaic Citra Centennial. Sounds boss to me. Soft haze on a gingery gold. Firm super sticky leggy white foam. Nose has sticky pine in a shelf turd kind of way. Marmalade. Buttery toast. Very spicy hop. Taste has a buttery sweetness before a huge hit of piny sappy herbal bitterness. Some IBUs going on here. Big body with drinkability. Hugely bitter finish. Sappy and rich. Pretty bonkers actually. Nice.

From Heinrich 3000, best before 11/24, time to open this bottle, yesterday, finally staying at home with a good meal, good beer to go to sleep, almost perfect imperial ipa, right note of alcool, malty, fruitt, a bit yeasty, bitter, medium body, solid, herbal note.

Bottle picked up from Craft Beer Shop and consumed at home Friday 14th June 2024 listening to ByteFM and cooking a Butter Chicken Curry with a small Lentil Curry also, plus Poppadoms, Chutneys and Rice. Pours orange/gold with a large sticky white head. Nice aroma, some maltiness sweet citrus. Quite sticky mouthfeel, some grapefruit amongst a big caramel malty base. A typical American style IPA, quite full on and in yer' face.

Bottle looks simple but good. Beer in the glass with a nice head. Fine fruity hoppy aroma. Sweetish touch. Starts wonderful fresh hoppy, flowery. Fruity notes of paches, some apricot. Sweetish hints. Finish wonderful balanced, mild bitterness. Nice one!

Hazy amber colour, white foam. Nose of citrus, tropical fruit, bitter hops. Taste is fruity, lots of grapefruit, some pine. Very well balanced. Great old school Imperial IPA!
