Bottleworks draught, 2/13/24. Clear, light-amber. Smattering of off-white head. More coffee than cacao. Good base malt behind it. Minimal hop. Soft with a bit of crusty bread. Good malt, good attenuation. Better blend of adjunct in the flavor. Good balance. Clean. Low bitterness, no idea where you would get astringent bitterness here...

Can. Pour is pale yellow with a decent white head. Nose is big coffee, with perhaps a tad of chocolate. Taste is coffee up front, interesting these pale beers that taste like coffee. In the middle the coffee really begins to set in a nd the chocolate is fading. Decent co2 level. Not really able to pick out the hops but the coffee sure is adding its own kind of bitterness. On the finish, the bitterness really starts to set in. Long lasting astringent coffee bitter ending.

12 oz. bottle, shared. Pours a clear, yellow color, with a small, off-white head. Smells of coffee, caramel, and biscuit dough. Sweet and grainy, with a nice, mild bitterness. Light to medium body, with a creamy, syrupy mouthfeel. This is a fun and reasonably tasty beer.

On tap at Schafly Bottleworks, pours a hazy golden blonde with a small white head. Aroma is quite earthy, with subdued coffee notes. Flavour is a little more pronounced, bringing out earthy coffee beans and a little vanilla. The blonde is a nice backbone for the coffee an vanilla. Well-done.

Solid blonde coffee beer, unexpectedly rich in mocha notes while maintaining a golden ale brightness. Modest red apple sweetness meshes with the chocolate and coffee, while a mild but firm bitterness rounds out the finish. Aroma and looks are rather lackluster, but the creamy, perky texture works well with both blonde and coffee sides of the brew. Easy-drinking, for damn sure.

12 ounce bottle. Hazy, honey gold color. Earthy, green coffee bean nose. Flavor is tangy, with a peculiar smoky, coffeeish malt flavor. Notes of earth, green coffee and cocoa. Tart and dry. Unusual at best.
