22 ounce bottle into snifter, no bottle dating. Pours dense pitch black color with a 2-3 finger dense and rocky dark tan head with fantastic retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lasts. Dense soapy lacing clings around the glass, with a good amount of streaming carbonation retaining the head. Incredible appearance. Aromas of big dark chocolate, cocoa, coffee, sweet orange peel, toasted dark bread, vanilla, cream, fudge, light smoke/char, and roast/toasted earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of roast/bready malt, orange peel, and lactose notes; with great strength. Taste of huge dark chocolate, cocoa, coffee, sweet orange peel, toasted dark bread, vanilla, cream, fudge, light smoke/char, and roast/toasted earthiness. Light-moderate roast/char bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of dark chocolate, cocoa, coffee, sweet orange peel, toasted dark bread, vanilla, cream, fudge, light smoke/char, and roast/toasted earthiness on the finish for a while. Incredible complexity, robustness, and balance of roast/bready malt, orange peel, and lactose flavors; with a great roasted bitter/sweet balance and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Medium carbonation and full body; with a very smooth, creamy/silky, and lightly sticky/chalky mouthfeel that is awesome. Alcohol is very well hidden with minimal warming lingering after the finish. Overall this is an incredible imperial milk stout! All around fantastic complexity, robustness, and balance of roast/bready malt, orange peel, and lactose flavors; and very smooth and easy to sip on for the ABV. A really amazing offering.

22 oz. bottle, pours black with a small tan head. Aroma brings out lots of roasted malt and lactose. Flavour is basically identical, with roasted malt and lactose. Rather high alcohol burn but detracting. Robust and well-balanced. Excellent.

Bottle - Dark chocolate, cooked orange and a nice sweet note. Deep brown with a light brown head. Dark chocolate, sweet orange and long finish. Not bad, but not my thing.
