Within the Flood Marks is a blonde wild ale, fermented in oak and then refermented with over a pound per gallon of blueberries, lending it a deep purple hue. As with all of our wild beer, WtFM spends most of its life slumbering in oak in the presence of our culture of native wild yeast and bacteria, conditioning and maturing for months and sometimes years before packaging. This iteration of WtFM spent over a year in oak and expresses prominent barrel character in addition to a rush of bluberry flavor on the palate. It finishes with a bracing acidity and jammy berry notes.
