Smooth and full bodied American style golden ale brewed with U.S. grown pilsner and white wheat malts, and hops sourced from the finest Washington and Oregon hop farms.

A long and cold fermentation with a Bavarian yeast strain lends a clean and smooth flavor, accentuated by small herbal and citrus tones from the hops, and is rounded out by a bread like malt character.

Hoppier than some other golden ale, this ale is a throwback to the flavorful American ales that would have existed before prohibition.

$2.00 can, Beer Run. Pours clear golden with a half-inch of white head. Smells of wet dog, grainy cereal - perhaps a dog food/kibble aroma. Flavor is grainy - it tastes like the way dog food smells. Also has flavors of cardboard, grass, earth, minor minor minor citrus. Pass.

Sampled on draft this beer poured a bright yellow color with a small foamy white head that left good lacing. The aroma was tangy and sweet with sugar and light golden fruits. The flavor was tangy and sweet with sugar, golden fruit, cardboard and a bit of perfume. Medium length finish. Medium body. Ok.

32oz growler I picked up at Oakton Wine Shop. Pours a clear hold with some ringing, lacing white head. Nose has a very gristy note at first, some honey, some yeast, some apricot, a little golden raisin. Flavor follow,s lots of honey, lots of golden raisin, apricot, some bready notes, sort of buttered bread, a little marmalade. Medium bodied finish. Maybe amp the bitterness up just a hint to even things out. A bit one note, for me.
