Amandine is an oak-aged ambrée ale with a soft berry tartness balanced by a rich malt character.
We transferred an ambrée ale (kin to a flemish-red) onto the still flavorful, fruit we used in batch b of this year’s knitting circle for additional refermentation and aging: a wild berry medley of elderberries, huckleberries and golden raspberries.
Notes of dried berries, figs and Piloncillo sugar Amandine beckons the change in seasons ahead.
To date, most of our beers have been made up of a simple grist bill of Pilsen malt and wheat. Amandine departs that trend and leads the pack of farmhouse ales with more elaborate grain bills of caramel and roasted malts.

Oak aged amber ale with cherries? Awesome lightness given it's color. Real mellow cherries.
