Blended from two and three year beers aged in French Oak, Act Two is the third in our series of 100% coolship-captured spontaneously fermented lambic-style beers. The blended beer was subsequently aged on locally grown blackberries and bottle conditioned for six months. Dry with jammy mouth puckering blackberry tartness layered with brettanomyces funk.

Bottle. Pours red. Blackberry, funk, strong barnyard, blue cheese, toast, blackberry jam, red wine vinegar, cherry wine, brandy, vanilla, oak. Good body. Funky and super complex. Fantastic.

Capped, bottle conditioned, 500 from Tavour. Pours dark and ruddy with a transient pink tinged head. Aroma of blackberries with a hint of tartness and some yeast. Med body. Flavor is blackberries, slightly musty oak, oak astringency and a tartness that is moderate but is definitely of the BFM flavor. Nice drink.
