Roselle is infused with hibiscus flowers at flame-out, lending the beer it's citrus flavor, ethereal fragrance and deep pink color.

Cheap can from vintage estate. Pop the lid to get a nose of somewhat processed beer with a metallic aroma. Look orange tint red and totally clear. This says sour wild, so I'm expecting something good since that's one of my fave styles. Well, the first taste is a real letdown, not sure if I'm getting any sour or wild attributes at all. I'd say the effect is more like a fruit beer, a dull fruit beer at that. Its not even fru-fru-fruity and its quite dry. The dryness is not appreciated. I've had other hibiscus beers that were a bold, tart flavor like cranberries or sour cherries. This is nothing like that, quit a let down. Well anyway, as a fruit beer, its quit average. As a sour, it fails. JMHO. There, you have it. Sorry FS, somebody should have tasted this before you labeled and sold it as such. I see its from Minneapolis, figgers.

Can. A- Floral, tangy. A- Vibrant reddish pink color, clear liquid, pink head. T- Hibiscus, slightly acidic. P- Light body, average texture, average carbonation, slightly acidic finish. O- Nice natural hibiscus flavor. It really does stand out. Mild tartness but a fair amount of acidity.

Fair State Roselle Hibiscus Sour 5.7% Orange with a pink/red edge from the Hibiscus with a minimal fizzy head of foam. A tangy lactic hibiscus aroma. Medium in body with a tart plum then sour/tart hibiscus flavor in the finish. It’s got a scratchy carbonation. OK.

Minnesota tick courtesy of wombat23. Canned Oct 2018. Pink with a fleeting, foamy head. Big floral aroma. Berries too. Taste is sour with a mild, bready sweet undertone on the backside. Not much else getting through over all that sourness but pleasant enough in its simple way. Body to the light side of medium, prickly but fading carbonation. Okay.

Beer Table To Go: pours red without much head. Aroma is hibiscus and lactic acid. Taste is lightly sour. Pretty flowery. Not too acidic. Easy drinking sour.

Aromas are tart and perfumy. Flavors are like Nose plus a little bit of soap in there Carbonic Tang enhances the sour that is already there. This is not my favorite flavor combo. Body is okay ditto finish.
