Minnesota Trip Beer #182. Keg at the brewery, 5/12/16. Clear copper, large creamy tan head, good retention. Aroma of toasted malts, mild hops. The taste is toasted malts, caramel, mild floral hops. Medium bodied, crisp.

On tap at the brewery. Pours a clear gold with a touch of amber and a near white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has notes of sweet grain and bread with a bit of a crispness underlying. Flavor begins with sweet grain and bread with a crisp finish and a touch of toffee.

At Fair State. Labeled as Vienna only, with no tea infusion. I suspect this was the base beer. I picked up no tea character at all in the normal version. Copper color; it looks right. Dry malt and bread flavors. Minimal hops, and bitter malt flavor with a dry finish. One of the better Viennas I have tried anywhere. Fair State is setting the bar for lagers in Minnesota.
