The concept for out third Hop Program beer, Beer III, was a hoppy black ale incorporating Citra, Lemondrop. Cascade, and Falconer's Flight hops. While dark in appearance, Beer III presents with massive hop aroma and flavor. It finishes dry with a touch of chocolate and coffee lingering on the palate. We hope you enjoy our latest hoppy creating. Cheers!

500mL bottle, pours a deep dark brown with a small beige head. Aroma brings out lots of roasted malt upfront, followed by piney hops and espresso. Flavour is well-balanced between roasted malt and piney hops. A little butter but it's not too bad. Solid stuff.

Dark brown, medium rocky head. Has a nice toasty aroma, woody hop and a little bit of chocolate. Sweet malts present as pale until the toastiness kicks in. Definitely a chocolate mint factor here. Nice smooth, balanced example.

50cl bottle pours a dark brown with some creamy, beige head. Nose has toasts and pith, a little grist, some dried grasses. Flavors of toast and malt and mild coffee cherry, the hop is more distant. Finishes dry.

Bottle from Acton, and a couple of months old. Dark brown with ruby at the edges and a huge frothy tan head that persists. Earthy pine tropical fruit and citrus atop a light roasty chocolate maltiness. Seems a bit thin in the mouth but decent beer.
