Jet black with a mid-size beige head. Biiiig booze, whiskey, peat notes, loads of molasses, caramel, chocolate, earth, oak. Full, thick and slick body. I get just a hint of that sherry sweetness but the Islay dominates. It’s a bruiser.

Can at home, 15th November 2025. Pours black and thick, aroma is intense, barrel, chocolate, liquor and peat. Taste is full on, islay, and peat, infused with chocolate and barrel - delightful

Sinister Brew - Jackalope
(Sherry + Islay)
Can shared at tasting. Opaque black color, virtually no head. Aroma is malts, clearly islay coming through. Flavor is malts, roast, again clearly islay dominating, nicely bitter. Very pleasant, very balanced. Lovely body. Very pleasant this one. 8-8-8,5-9-8,5

Geprobeerd met Benzai, Keukeman en Roelzie. Diep donkerbruin tot zwart bier. Het heeft een aroma van gebrande mout en whisky. De smaak is vol gebrande mout, whisky en een hint turf.
