Wood and ginger nose. Cloudy amber, medium yellow head, good lace. Ginger, orange peel, oak, dried apricots. Juniper finish. Tastes rather like a cocktail, but still beery. Full body, warm, easy carbonation. Good complexity, a little heavy on the ginger. Unique.

12 ounce bottle from Beer Run. Hazy amber, moderate foamy tan head, decent retention. Aroma of strong ginger, mint, apricot, mild pale malt. The taste is ginger, pale malt, mint, citrus, apricot. Medium bodied, lingering spice.

Draft at Snallygaster 2015. Poured an orange color with a small off-white head. Aroma was lots of apricots, fruits, and fresh spicy ginger notes. Ginger is there in the flavor, but it wasn’t too overpowering, though this is probably the last beer I had there that night, and my memory started to get a bit hazy. Girlfriend liked it.

Sampled on draft at Hou Thou this beer poured a vibrant yellow-golden color with a medium sized foamy white head that left good lacing. The aroma was tart, bitter, perfume and catbox. The flavor was strong catbox and cactus with a bit of golden fruit underneath followed but strong perfume and quite a bit of bitterness. Long catbox and perfume finish. Light to medium body. Awful.
