Flavor: Complex aromas of melon, pine, green grass, and citrus rind mingle in this crystal clear, blonde ale. Flavors of mango and cantaloupe mix with a touch of malty sweetness, followed by a pleasantly bitter, crisp finish that rounds out this hoppy brew.

Clear gold. Floral hops and grass aroma. Some citrus and really the hops tasted almost lagers spice.

Total Wine in Fairfax: not sure how old this is but it seemed to be OKz pours golden with a white head. Aroma is lemony with some orher light fruitiness and maybe a fleur. Taste is lemony and lightly sweet. Not very bitter. OK aftertaste. Again, not sure what this was supposed to be at its prime...

Growler at the December 2016 DC area cider tasting thanks to maniac. Poured a clear golden color with a small white head. Aroma was light floral notes, bitter hop leaf notes. Flavor was light hoppy notes, floral character. A touch strange.

64oz growler pours a clear gold with a ring of white head. Nose has grass, lemon, perfume, mild tea. Flavor has lemon, honey, tea, mildly astringent, some grist, mild soap. Finishes lightly oily.

From a growler at the RB cider tasting December 2016. Pours a clear gold with an off white head. Aroma of pine and citrus. Grassy, piney flavors. Lightly bitter finish.

Minnesota Beer Trip #240. 12 ounce bottle from North Loop Liquors, 5/13/16. Clear golden with a medium sized creamy off-white head. Good retention. Aroma of toasted pale male and herbal hops. The taste is herbal, citrus hops, tea, toasted malt. Medium bodied, mild lingering bitterness.

Clear golden coloured body with a nice, two centimetre tall pure white head. Aroma of fresh grassy and very herbal hops with some citrus elements and very little else. Light-bodied; Strong grassy and bitter flavours with cleanser, a bit of pineapple and a little resin, but mostly grass, herbs and pungency. Aftertaste shows some bitterness, a bit of pungency from alcohol and grain and a little cleanser flavours as well. Overall, a strong IPA with a lot of bitterness, no real complexities and an overt grass and astringent bitterness throughout with a little bit of body, but not much and no sweetness at all. This one really isn’t worth trying, even if you like the brewery or the style. I sampled this twelve ounce bottle, purchased from Giant Food in Falls Church, Virginia on 28-April-2016 for US$1,99 sampled at home in Washington on 07-October-2016.

355ml bottle. Barely clear, yellow-ish, pale golden colour with small to average, frothy, fairly lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Citrusy, piney, hoppy aroma, notes of lemon, pineapple, melon, biscuity malty background. Taste is dry, bitter hoppy, slightly fruity, hints of melon, some pine, a touch of pineapple. Quite restricted, almost boring.

Bottle. Pours a hazy yellow gold with medium frothy white head that lasts. The aroma is tropical fruit and grass. Medium body, juicy hop, melon, lemon grass, light bitterness, very good.

On tap at BitterCreek Alehouse hazy golden yellow full frothy white head. Very good light malt flavors Blonde flavors and soft melon sweetness. Plenty of IPA bigness but blends very well. Balanced and very tasty
