Malt: Pilsner, CaraPils.
Hops: Idaho 7
Flavor: Complex aromas of melon, pine, green grass, and citrus rind mingle in this crystal clear, blonde ale. Flavors of mango and cantaloupe mix with a touch of malty sweetness, followed by a pleasantly bitter, crisp finish that rounds out this hoppy brew.

So another Idaho 7 showcase. Quite pale, big head that falls fast. Aroma is fruity, sort of canned pears (do they still make those?), pineapple, and rambutan. Has a fairly heavy hop character, expressing lighter floral notes but also some very clean pale malt sweetness. Pretty nice beer overall. The hops build up on the palate as heavy and cheesy...I guess more suited to the lighter styles?

Bottle pour into nonic pint glass from Julio’s Liquors. Aroma is strong herbs, grass, mild resin, melon and pine, light background malts. Appearance is clear golden yellow with finger width fizzy white head with fair retention, minimal sparkle and fair lacing. Taste is bitter herbs mixed with citrus, mild sweet soap and late earthy pilsner malts/cracker. Palate is light-to-medium bodied with slick texture and average carbonation with late liveliness, crisp bitter finish. Overall, Victory tries to cram a lot into this but a lot of it seems to fight with itself. It’s not bad but so many others supersede it.

On draught at Winking Lizard. Clear golden-amber color with a medium white head that dissipates steadily to an outer ring. Short strings of lacing. Aroma of citrus, hops and malt. Light to medium body with flavors of citrusy hops, tropical fruit and malt. The finish is mildly bitter with a floral hop and fruit aftertaste. Decent overall.

Another 12 oz. bottle purchased at Prost, North Hampton, NH. Mostly clear good laden color with some light legs of lacing down the glass. Aroma has an earthy floralness with pilsener malt.
The flavor shows the Pils malt base that provides a light crisp mouthfeel. The hop profile is very low: pine and weak melon / fruit. Body is thin with a borderline watery texture. No bitterness and the flavor falls completely flat in the finish. What is in my glass is rather weak effort.

12 ounce bottle from Uptown Market. Pours a clear golden color with a medium white head. A big pils malt and floral hop nose. Quite smooth, toast, some lemons, light hints of more tropical fruit. A bit of lemon biscuit in the finish. Quite nice. Smooth.

12 fl.oz bottle. Pours clear pale golden colour with a huge most good lasting white head. Aroma of fresh hops, tropical fruits, melon. Taste of melon, grassy bitter hops, pale malt, very fresh, high drinkability, good!
